Summary

As a Staff Engineer, you are a detail-oriented, hard-working, problem solver with an optimistic attitude, that can easily (and happily) wear many hats. You are able to uphold our company's principles and values while adding to our unique culture. As a member of our Engineering Team, you will broadly be responsible for collaborating on the improvement of our systems. You will be overseeing the structural design process, estimating costs, and performing quality control throughout the stages of implementation.

To ensure success as a staff engineer, you should demonstrate specialized engineering knowledge and experience in a related industry. A first-class staff engineer will be someone whose engineering expertise translates into streamlined and cost-effective processes.

You Will:

• Write effective, testable, efficient, and scalable code.
• Ensure clear and structured programming.
• Develop back-end components to improve responsiveness and overall performance.
• Implement security and data protection solutions.
• Assess and prioritize feature requests.
• Proceed with engineering research to find and implement the best possible solution.
• Utilize software to perform efficient planning, designing, and development.
• Keep abreast of developments and innovation in the area of specialization.

You Have:

• 5+ years of Full-Stack Engineering experience.
• Proficient using React Native.
• Intermediate to advance level using Python, Django preferred.
• Great organizational and time management skills.
• Extensive knowledge of engineering processes, structural design, and system optimization.
• Exceptional analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience using AWS is a plus.
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Associated Studies is a plus.

Job Type: Full-time Contractor

Salary: Commensurate with experience.
